Communication with Members
Knole U3A attaches great importance to ensuring all of its members have easy access to information about the groups that have been established, or are at the planning stage. Details of these and group contact details are available in the handbook and in the Members area.
An AGM is held in June at which the Chairman and our Treasurer present detailed reports. Members have the opportunity to question the Chairman and Treasurer on all aspects of the running of Knole as well as approving Knole Trustees who may be standing (for election/re-election). All members of Knole may put their names forward to serve on the Committee.
A meeting for Group Contacts is usually held in September to share best practice and to encourage new ideas for groups. The Groups Coordinator will be pleased to help in establishing them.
An open afternoon is held at the end of September at which new members can join study groups after they have paid their membership fee.
This website is a key source of information and also reports group activities and the contribution our U3A is making to the local community.
